We developed a branded campaign that encouraged consumers to consider lighting as important as paint and other home décor. Campaign elements included:
- WhatsYourLightingStyle.com: A 3D interactive website to teach visitors how to use lighting to enhance décor and create moods that are appropriate for their personality and lifestyle.
- GE MoodCam™: An iPhone application to show users their homes under different lighting and to provide design tips, shopping list and 3-step Bulb Finder feature.
- Social Media: Twitter and Facebook pages to provide timely design tips and forums for conversation among audiences.
Results: To date, the campaign has garnered millions of impressions. Affiliated digital assets have been nominated for prestigious awards including SXSW,the Webby Awards, and the ad:tech awards. Social media efforts have earned over 30,000 Facebook fans and thousands of Twitter followers.
